Again, that's why I said contracts are not enforced every single day. We are not simply talking about the law. I'm trying to get you to think about your actual actions and whether you want to do them or not, not the law. The law is literally nothing more than the floor you can't go below, the bare minimum level of human being you are allowed to be and still roam free. I'm talking about being the well off landlord who throws out a family during the pandemic "because they signed a lease" vs the landlord who acknowledges that that's a fucked up thing to do and makes a deal. The landlord has the legal right to do the first and a moral obligation to do the latter. And people are fully justified in judging the first.
