It's not a "We have to get Viola Davis more money" and that's the end of it. She's a powerful minority representative that can be a figure head for the whole thing.

And thats where Im calling bullshit. Shes not Meryl Streep. If she thinks she deserves more pay, thats on her and her agent. As Ive mentioned, there are a number of high profile black actors who receive top billing and top dollar. Viola Davis isnt drawing those crowds.

Available roles is an entirely independent issue and not what shes complaining about. Her problems are also not remotely comparable to a struggling black actor, and hitching herself to that wagon is ridiculous.
