Hold on a second... why are people calling this Russian hacking?

If Russia contributed $100,000 to the Trump campaign, that's called international bribery. That's not hacking. Not even close. Somehow this one little fact, the entire basis of the "collusion" argument, evaded me for the last 4 years. Because I did not hear it once. I blame myself and I also blame other people for not arguing well, instead saying "X person says it's really convincing"

Fuck guys if grandpa would have stopped misusing the word "hack" for a second I probably would have taken you seriously a lot sooner. Hacking implies exploiting some software. (and no, don't try to stretch that definition)

So Russian hackers = no.
International bribery specifically involving Russia = yes or no depending on which mafia you want to trust.

I will give you guys a concrete example of Trump taking bribes from Saudi Arabia.

Even as president, Trump hotels continue to earn business from Saudi interests, reports show.
Groups lobbying on behalf of the Saudi government spent $270,000 at Trumps Washington hotel, according to a Washington Post investigation. The bill included some $190,000 for rooms, $78,000 spent on catering and $1,600 for parking, according to lobbyist filings.
"The bill was ultimately paid by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia," the Post reported.
A separate Washington Post investigation found that visits to Trump hotels by big-spending Saudis were responsible for a revenue bump.
A letter obtained by the Post from the general manager of the Trump International Hotel in Manhattan said "a last-minute visit to New York by the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia" had been a major factor in a 13 percent bump in revenue from room rentals for the first three months of 2018 after two years of declining figures.
The Post reported that while the Crown Prince did not personally stay at the hotel, accommodating his accompanying travelers for a five-day stay in March "was enough to boost the hotels revenue for the entire quarter."

This one is proven beyond a doubt. This was directly before his $8b weapons deal with them.

Mind you while I will take $100,000 of Russian money supposedly going to Trump ads as collusion, I don't think it was the biggest reason why Trump won, and is often used to excuse Hillary Clinton.
