Also, not to knock Davis, but she has 1 Oscar & 3 nominations. Streep has 3 wins & 21 total nominations. That's a bit of a difference. Meryl Streep also has been around much longer and plays the Hollywood game better than anyone. She's been nominated for piss-poor performances and won for a couple of them too.
