If someone I liked said something mean about me I would be a bit hurt. I'm kind of self-conscious, most would say to my detriment. I'd probably examine whatever behavior they're criticizing because they might have a point. But thankfully nobody ever says mean stuff about me behind my back, so it's nothing I have to worry about! I actually think very similar and I'm pass like 90% of it. Doesn't control me at all like it use to. Now I can self examine all day and have no emotion attached to it. It's more of a "Oh, I guess I do do that. That's Interesting" then I don't think about it for another year until it randomly comes up again. This is all just personal experience tho.
