So he just says very simple and basic factual stuff about self improvement and people don't like that?

The problem is he ties that basic self help stuff that I could get for free at the book dump in my apartment's laundry room to laughably incorrect and regressive psychology and political analysis. The dude has no idea what Marxism or postmodernism or nihilism are, and yet he's define its first a whole group of uninformed people.

And despite his combination of wrongness and basicness, he's collected a following of "intellectual" followers who channel their reason and intelligences into debates about why sjws will cause the fall of the West.
