It's a case of 'humans are the true demons' and possibly the first case of this in vidya games. And it's not a case of just demonically possessing or mutating a human, that' a different beast ALSO in the game... it's what happens when a human turns so evil they become stronger than any demon --- "Salt cures Everything!"
