Power; just start skipping rocks across the ocean and start taking out random shit across the globe. Technically 1 properly done one could infinitely skip until it exploded from friction/impact.
Once you start getting it to 500,000 kph, it's literally going Mach 404.923874.

Railguns use magnetic fields created by high electrical currents to accelerate a projectile to Mach 6, or 5,400 miles an hour. The velocity is sufficient to give the EMRG an effective range of 110 nautical miles, or 126 miles on land.

That's a HUGE ass aerodynamic metal spike going Mach 6 has a range of 110 natuical miles.

Imagine what a nicely polished disc shaped stone could do @ Mach 404.92

I'll do a linear extrapolation with Mach 404 as the base speed and the decimal after would be effective loss through heat, noise, and friction assuming the rock stayed in one piece for "magical reasons".

404 x 110 = Range of attack = 44,440 Nautical miles.

Earth's Circumference is ~ 21,600 Nautical miles.

There's nothing on Earth you can't target and eradicate.
