Topic	Should I play Dragon Quest XI or Final Fantasy XII next?

It does enough to make fights more varied and interesting, along with great voice acting, beautiful looking 2D mix 3D graphics, excellent OST, and side quests done right. The only 2 big things that almost made me drop the game was the segmented story (and how formulaic it gets) and the fact that you have 8 unique party characters that rarely interact with each other... other than those awkward moments where you have to press + in a middle of a characters story that are missable.
