| Topic | Should I play Dragon Quest XI or Final Fantasy XII next? |

Someone on this board best described it as the FIFA of RPG's. But if you like old school JRPG's, it should fit your fancy, just not a game I can recommend. Persona 5 and Octopath Traveler are both far superior JRPG's (not to say they don't have their faults either, but both do different things to make the game... well not generic or boring).
