Everyone's favorite anonymous basketweaving forum had been monitoring it since December (me personally, January). Before March, Congress was clashing with Trump on the sloppy travel ban (and it was nothing to do with it being sloppy but cause it was "racist"), and both Fauci and the news media were all saying this was nothing serious and no more dangerous than the flu. This pandemic has me convinced that most of the population just isn't good at foresight. And given how politicians, to get into office, they don't need to demonstrate foresight, it's not surprisingly how badly so many fucked up. Couple this with our "fuck you, got mine" attitude and individualistic culture and it's no wonder why we still have so many Corona-chan issues up to now. --- ... Copied to Clipboard! |
