Yeah there isn't really a way to own physical copies of video games anymore because of the needs for patches and a number of other issues. Though I learned my lesson after Nintendo shutdown the Virtual Console and only own physical copies of old games now. I can always resell them for as much or more than I paid and I never knew how long or if digital copies will become available again (though I am always scared about my PS1 CDs being rendered unplayable by the most minor damage). I also enjoy the cases/manuals/inserts most older games have.I'm the same way. We need more assets in a physical medium. Give our Games / TV Shows / Movies / Music some physicality.
