Everything that is on the table now insofar as reforms go was unthinkable a few months ago. The only reason those are on the table now is because people are willing to fight. Not one time in history has real change come without a fight. The bold part is the big take away here. It's such a sheltered privileged viewpoint to say "violence is never the answer" Like yeah that's good on paper, and in a perfect utopia we could all just sit down and reach peaceful conclusions that everyone is happy with.
