Apparently one of the "suspicious behaviors" that prompted the 911 call in the first place was him flailing his arms - a common form of stimming for people on the spectrum that I do myself - and that combined with him being an "introvert" leads me to believe he was autistic as well. Obviously the racial dynamic should be acknowledged here, but I hope people also begin to address police brutality against the disabled in light of this story.
