I dunno, I just played the game for the first time last year on the SNES classic and I wasn't that impressed. (Also played FFVI for the first time, nostalgia-goggle-free and I was super impressed with that.) It was enjoyable to be sure, but I just feel like the first Paper Mario games outclass it in every possible way. Like, it's not even close.
