I just learned that Brazil doesn't have a consistent standard for what it means to have "recovered" from corona. I'm hearing recovered in many parts over there means an infected person that isn't dead or hospitalized. If true that explains the 1 million cases and 500k recovered in such a short period. The more I hear about the way they handling this the more they exceed my expectations of how fucked they are.
