| Mr Lasastryke 06/18/20 8:27:00 PM #61: | i didn't actually care that much about how well i did, it's more that... i gradually started finding the concept kind of weird and off-putting? if i went to my real life group of friends and said "hey, let's have a tournament in which we're all matched up against each other, and at the end we'll find out who the most popular person in the group is!" i doubt that would be very well received. yes, i get that we're not all friends with each other, but this is still mostly a community of people who have known each other for ages. i was fine with it back in 2004, when we were dumb kids who did all kinds of weird shit on the board, but the fact that it was still going in 2017 is rather bizarre to me. --- Geothermal terpsichorean ejectamenta ...
