Topic	How many months of expenses do you have saved up?

So what I'm saying is that we buy stuff we want all the time (Electronics/Clothes/Home Items/Etc) and we're still saving that much money. We do about $1200/month in excess spending. We could be putting a lot more in the bank, but we just aren't right now. Having $6000 just sitting there in the bank is, for some reason, something most people in the US just aren't achieving right now.
