Among the group, you have Jeff getting cartoonishly mad sometimes, and Britta gets filled with righteous indignation, and Pierce just gets easily upset over everything, but when SHIRLEY gets mad, it feels like genuine "Imma kill you while you sleep" energy. And that's an amusing juxtaposition from her bubbly, motherly persona. Plus, Shirley does a good job in the role of straight man among the group, reacting to the insanity around her, while occasionally becoming a part of said insanity, as the situation calls for it. --- Touch fuzzy.
