| Topic | Dragon Quest XI is one of the most boring JRPG I played recently |
| Prestoff 06/12/20 11:14:25 PM #1: | I'm 28 hours into this game and I'm really trying my best to finish this game but holy moly does this game feel so uninspiring in everything. From the combat system, to the story being a giant cliched, the music being too jumpy and repetitive, dull characters, terrible dialogue, and boring side quests. The only good thing about this game is the graphics, Slyvando (probably the only fun character in the cast, with Raab and Veronica because they seem to be only characters with any personality), and the forging mini game. At least with Octopath Traveler and Persona 5, while not perfect games, does more to engage me with the game than Dragon Quest XI can ever thanks to their excellent battle system that constantly keeps me in their toes and always trying to find ways to change up the gameplay. I'm honestly trying to find out why Dragon Quest XI gets so much praise when it been done before, except so much better in other JRPG's. --- DI MOLTO! ... Copied to Clipboard! |
