I've had both of them as well as TC on ignore/block at one point or another and I've never been one to deny how quickly I tend to lose patience with people more quickly than I should, but I agree with the premise of this topic and ideally I would like to see us all be at least civil to one another even if we can't all be friends/drinking buddies/etc. Brutai can be a bit quick to judge at times, but so can I and so can everyone. He's misjudged me at times and I shake my finger at that but I've misjudged him too. I can appreciate the dude's work stories and I'm always looking to call him out for breaking character and not making Ronda Rousey references but I never get to because he always does >_>... and duckbear, who I knew as FULL THROTTLE first, seemed like an annoying throwaway account on board 8 well before I ever showed up here and I wanted nothing to do with his "news" until at some point I realized that there was value in poking fun at the news, even when it amounted to barely more than taking cheap shots at the physical appearances of those who made said news. I've been a fan of duckbear topics since...

and then we have Mabus. The feud if it really deserves to be called that, between him and myself has always more been about how things are between myself and his buddies, and it was always more about standing one's ground than anything else, from my point of view at least. What his buddies think of me isn't his problem though obviously, and while I never tried to make it as such, I can't say I was never disappointed by it. If shit is spoken about me, shit will happen and has happened. He knows that though and he gets it and I've never had the sense that he didn't. We just found ourselves on opposite sides at times. In this particular instance though, that is not the case. I support the idea of olive branches and squashing beefs and if you've read this far into this post, you already know that because I've already made this text wall.

I don't want to be overly critical of Brutai because recently I've had a little spat with him even though his views were spot on (they were just misguided in their direction at me specifically), but clearly I as well am spot on when I say that he does have a tendency to arrive at conclusions with a bit of haste... which I say as a pot speaking of a kettle >_>. As for duckbear, his news is valid and his injected personal takes are not in my opinion inappropriate. Is it nice to call people heifers? No. Do the people he called heifers make the news by doing nice things? No. What's fair is fair and duckbear's news knows what it is and what it tries to be. Don't even get me started on the typos. They are ridiculous and avoidable. I still get annoyed by them... however, I'm used to them and I've come to realize that maybe the takes with the most typos, the shitty grammar, the most insults directed at the villainous headliners, might just be the realest and most authentic takes in news itself. We don't need to get our information from robots spitting words at a screen. They have no stake in any of it. Real news comes from real people and their real takes... and duckbear is absolutely and inarguably that. I've known you both for a good few years and I would rather see you shake hands than butt heads.

And Mabus, I don't really know what more needs to be said, but I do think from other recent events that we each understand where the other is coming from and while this topic was completely without context for me before I clicked on it and read it, it clearly got me thinking and re-thinking... and the point is that it has a good message and a message that really should be more prominent now in this times. Apologies for taking thousands of words to express my opinion on the matter but this is how I've always been >_>. There was no getting around lots of words. the point is... this is a good topic and I'm glad you made it.
