They make it sound like it's attached to a remaster: "There's a substantial Miles Morales component which is the expansion element but also within the game as well there's been major enhancements to the game and the game engine, obviously deploying some of the major PlayStation 5 technology and features," Rutter explained. "Within the game as well" implies the original game. EDIT: I wouldn't be upset at all if it was a standalone expansion since it'd probably come at a lower price.
