These consoles, especially the top end models, are going to be incredibly expensive. A huge price during the global pandemic and economic downturn is going to cause some sticker shock, and it is critical to build up hype as much as possible on the front end in order to justify the price. They want people talking about games, tech, design, rumors, and everything else first. The price is going to be the bad news - it needs to be prefaced with as much good news as possible first.
