Topic	NASCAR just banned the confederate flag.

And unlike almost any other civil war ever, the losing side wasn't purged or anything, they were let back in. Why do people like waving around the flag of the LOSING SIDE unless they think they never lost? . Honestly because a lot of the symbolism comes from the Jim Crow era. A large number of Confederate fetish memorabilia comes from the days of segregation and a lot of older people in those states remember that fondly.
