These cops we're talking abiut, they don't do shit either. They have morals. They're good to people, they try to help, they aren't corrupt. But they don't have the power to fix the bad things around them, anymore than a citizen does. Officer Lane in Floyd's case is a good example, he stood around but voiced concern, because doing more would mean losing his job and not actually change anything.
