I've seen a few stories where people were trapped under the ice of a frozen lake for several minutes (10-15) but when they were rescued they were actually revived and suffered no brain damage. Something about the super cold temperatures lowering their metabolism and heart rate so much that their body was sort of in a "stasis" mode. that could also mean that it's a slow, painful death. --- You have the right to remain silent.
