About the whole 'sexual content in VNs' discussion, I also wasn't a fan of Lotus' presentation, and VLR's leap in that direction is part of why I haven't felt terribly inspired to play it. That being said, at least the game treated Lotus' outfit as abnormal (for lack of a better word) and gave a justification for it, which feels like a step and a half above lots of Japanese games (including one I really love, admittedly).
