Basically only the timemage can have float or Hastega, so you'd have to waste an entire job just to get float to be able to avoid traps in dungeons. And you can't have all the party members have Curaja, Protectga, Shellga, you basically have to choose between making someone the healer, the knight, the thief, instead of having every character be all of those things combined. It's just an unnecessary limitation. It's a good thing this version lets you have 2 jobs since that helps a little. Could you imagine if you were only allowed 1 job out of the 12, forever? It would be the first time that the international edition or "final mix" version of a game is actually worse than the original.
