As for the situation in Minneapolis, everyone wants that cop prosecuted, but I personally think that's extremely unlikely to happen and the reason for this is if they prosecute him, other cops will lose faith in the government's ability to protect them and they could quit, therein lies the reason why he won't be charged. What could happen is that he could be retrained and given a new name to work in a nearby county's police station. And if that now irritated cop makes another arrest that ends in the death of a black person, the protests that follows potentially be even bigger than the protests this time around.
