That isn't why people are upset with the riots though.
Anyone who is more upset at a building being burned to the ground than they are decades of police abuse and overstepping the line, unchecked is weird to me.."that could have been some family's business! how will they eat now!". True, but they can rebuild and are still here to do it...If they relied exclusively on that business to eat it'll be a struggle but they can get by. People do it all the time. Floyd won't be able to go home to his family anymore. ever. If they relied exclusively on him there is no picking up the pieces there. He's gone forever...

I'm not saying i want an innocent family to lose their restaurant or store, but you can't compare it to an innocent family losing a member permanently. They had plenty of opportunities to address these issues and actually hear people out for years and chose to do nothing....no wait, they did something. They told them to shut up. They screamed "ALL LIVES MATTER!" at them then did nothing to help "all lives". They blackballed a Quarterback because he took a knee and spun his message into "BUT TEH TROOPS!" so they wouldn't have to acknowledge the problem...

Spare me with the "the poor community now has to clean up!".
