In a time with less partisan craziness, Donald would not be allowed to use Twitter the way he has. He is essentially picking winners and losers in the marketplace by using a private platform as his official communique. Imagine if he moved exclusively to some new platform created by someone in his inner circle. The whole public record argument does not hold up for a private entity like Twitter, if the White House wants to claim his tweets are public record then it is incumbent on them to preserve that, not force a private entity to abide. ...
