Short term, not happening

Currently in a pandemic, so courts aren't exactly open for business (someone in Minnesota can prove me wrong on this).

Then they'd need to find impartial jurors, and with this being a high-profile case, would be more difficult to accomplish, now moreso cause we can't have old people in the pool of potential jurors due to health risks.

After everything subsides, sure. But are you going to tell protestors, and would they react positively, to the news that a case would come after a vaccine is found, a delay months if not years later?
If I had to guess, it wouldn't fly well.
