The primary intent behind it was to combat how much misinformation is flying around about COVID, but Trump's tweet about mail-in ballots being inevitably fraudulent got hit by it as well, and he's not happy. Never mind that "hey buddy that's not true" does not stifle free speech in any way even if we ignore that Twitter's a non-government entity and therefore is not beholden to the First Amendment, the good ol' Cheeto in Chief is tres angery.
