Authority not from a moral or even legal stance, but authority in the sense that McMichaels was barking orders while holding a gun. In the same way that bank robbers act with authority even though they have no moral or legal standing. Basically when someone with a gun walks up and starts swinging it around most people acknowledge that guy is in charge, you know, cause they dont want to get shot.

So your argument is that the legal defense team will argue that Arbery has issues with authority figures.

And that his aggression towards criminal-authority figures resulted in his death.

That's the defense strategy you think they should go with? If he hadn't fought back against armed criminals, he would still be alive today. And that's why their clients should be found innocent?
