Trump has spent the last 11 years trashing Obama every week. The defense of "How dare Obama open his mouth!" falls flat. I mean sure Obama brought up how Bush fucked over the economy as a deflection now and then but he was always respectful to the guy. In this case Obama literally has done nothing wrong. He's not running around screaming that Trump is a criminal and dumb dumb doo doo face while trump really has.
