Well for one, I didn't mention the AR-15 or AK-47. But they aren't unwieldy. It takes more training to shoot a pistol quickly and accurately than a long gun with a stock. Are you saying that if two guys break into your home, possibly with guns, you're better off with nothing? At least with an AR, you can shoot back and maybe scare them off.
