Less reliance on China is a good thing. it is a good thing, except the issue is if the West decides to cut off the East cold, the current state of the economy tied into import/export will be damaging to what the West could maintain alone. There would be a period of depression and desperation until the country itself can find it's own feet again and be self-sustaining.
