Marriages are built on more than just liking someone as a person, there's a romantic element as well. If that's gone, then what makes that person any different than close friend? This and also they were both going through physical therapy at the same time. Neither one could be the rock for the other. It was tough on both of them and he majorly fucked up. Both parties accept it, he himself says it's the worst thing he's done morally. He just always came across as an honest and open-minded person willing to have discourse with someone with opposing views. Then again, I'm not a Democratic or Republican or affiliated with any party. And there was also things I strongly disagreed with him about. And things I strongly agreed with him about.
