We got tired of trying to defend the movie against the unrelenting hatred. I get the feeling most people who like TLJ are people who either don't watch many movies or people who watch lots of movies. It's probably primarily people who really got immersed in the lore of Star Wars who hate these new movies so much, and I can't blame them. Rise of Skywalker is I swear the most cookie-cutter modern blockbuster ever.
