Okay, then tell me how they could have stopped covid from spreading all over the world.

This is a virus that spreads 100% invisibly. It has up to 4 weeks infective incubation time and a pretty high chance of either not showing symptoms ever or only having the symptoms of a cold / flu. To make things worse, the tests have a very high false negative rate. Basically, you could plant an infected in a group of 10 people and end up with all of them infected without any symptoms. You'd think they are all healthy and reach the false conclusion that it doesn't spread person-to-person.

So that means should it start spreading anywhere it's already too late. Outside of China, countries noticed a small group of infections at the "beginning" in February, then a month of silence, and then it suddenly explodes with high infection counts and ever-increasing death counts. And any 1 person anywhere can start it up again worldwide.

By contain I meant inside of China itself. It leaking out of China was unavoidable. As for USA, Trump Administration spread the lies worldwide that it's harmless and defeated, making the situation worse.
