This isn't a comment about you, just a rant on people who downplay what underlying conditions are. Underlying conditions doesn't mean they are going to have shortened life spans. People with underlying conditions can live as long as anyone else, it makes me sick to see people try to use that as a reason for why it's not that big of deal. Honestly there is a pretty good chance you have an underlying condition that is not diagnosed. They see those two words and for some reason they picture people already dying. Having asthma is considered an underlying condition. Think of all the normal kids you used to see go to the nurse at school to use their inhaler. They have zero reason not to live to a ripe old age. Those are the deaths we downplay when we act like underlying conditions means walking dead.

And the most offensive idea is that we're an acceptable loss as long as money keeps flowing.
