Even on his show the Roots are more important than he is. his guests carry the show, his segments involve a celebrity doing something. I'm not saying its not an entertaining show or that i don't like him. I'm sure he's involved with the writing and all that but still...the cast is what makes him, whereas a guy like Conan or Letterman can carry the show and have any guest on.
