TopicThe $9.99 pizza turned into $19.80. This is why I don't do delivery.

That makes it even worse then. I legitimate believe if someone has a charge of $18.70 a lot of people would give a $20 and say keep the change. That's a shit tip, because I think people assume the delivery fee goes to the driver.

If you want to hear worse, think about this. You have a nice dinner at a somewhat expensive restaurant. Lets say you spent 50 dollars on your meal. You leave a 10 dollar tip because the food was fairly good. The guy who cooks your food gets less than 1/10th of that tip. The way my buddy whose a cook(as well as a chef we had come in to teach cooking classes at our store) put it backroom staff will get 1/10th of the tip split between them, unless specified otherwise. So of a 10 dollar tip, 1 dollar is split between lets say 10 kitchen staff. So the guy who cooked the food that you loved gets 10 cents of that tip. Mind you they should be getting paid more than the wait staff, but that's not always the case.

If you ask for the tip to be left for the chef, he will get all of the tip.
