In buying when I get home. I LOVE the graphics style. Fuck the haters.

My question is, is it just a straight through game where you play the story and that's it? Or is there some kind of meta game, where you do different things, like grind missions, or take on quests or whatever, with unlockables or stats or something else to keep you playing. What makes stuff like dragons crown so great is the system the basic gameplay is enclosed in. I will be disappointed if sor4 is just a one shot story mode and that's it. Beat them ups need to evolve to be relevant again imo, and just having a two hour story or whatever is not the way to do it. It needs a system in place to trigger those crack addiction responses.

They have battles so you can fight against someone else like Street Fighter. They also have a boss gauntlet mode where you fight every boss one after another. There's extras so you can get new things. It has co-OP online and off. There's a mode where you have limited lives and you have to get through the whole game without dying.
