This is a legitimate concern. Kuru is serious business indeed, and nobody wants that for breakfast.

Imagine, for the purposes of this hypothetical that it was possible to source entirely disease free human flesh (in the same world where it was legally permissible to eat human flesh).

Like I said I just don't believe anything can ever be promised to be disease free.

The only situations in which I'd eat human meat is:
  1. I was literally starving to death and had no other options
  2. I was being coerced into it somehow
  3. The meat was made from tissue cloning using my cells as the only donor material and was also somehow demonstrably prion free.
