Thats what another word is.

fox and fox are not two words. Its one word twice. Ergo it cant rhyme because a rhyme has to be another word.

Are you people seriously this obtuse or is this all trolling? The dictionary is literally the fucking rule book. And the rule book says a word HAS to have two different words to create a rhyme.

One of the two or more words corresponding in sound

https://www.oxfordlearnersdictionaries.com/us/definition/english/rhyme_1
ends with the same sound as another word

https://en.m.wiktionary.org/wiki/rhyme
A word that that it pronounced identically with the other word from the vowel in its stressed syllable to the end.

even the google dictionary: a word that has the same sound as another word

Notice how they all say another word or two or more words.

Literally none of them say "different". They say "another" which has several meanings

https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/another
1: different or distinct from the one first considered the same
2 : some other
3 : being one more in addition to one or more of the same kind

Although you are using the first definition. I'm using the third definition therefore meaning you can rhyme the same word together.

fox and fox are not two words.
Except that they are 2 words. In fact, that sentence has 7 words. So it also clears the other definition of needing "2 or more words"

Can I also point out that something like side, inside, outside, upside, and downside all rhyme but the only part that you are rhyming with those words are the -side part.
