Hmm normalcy can exist without a vaccine. I mean africa has aids, ebola, mers and a few other nasties but they survive. Aids spread to america but honestly who demands a std test before having intimate relations. We have tons of scary bugs with no vaccine. That is normalcy.

Whenever the new big bad rears its head you learn what it is. Look for treatement to lesson the symptoms. Look for possible ways to limit infection. Adapt and overcome. While vaccines are good and should be used we can survive (most of us) without them.
