It wasn't bad, but it felt more like the episode before the finale than the finale itself. I found it hella stupid how incompetent those "assassins" were. Gus was like "I've got my best men on this." Uh-huh. One guy got taken out with hot oil and a frying pan while the other one spent a solid minute shooting the shit out of nothing instead of aggressively pursuing the (then) unarmed Lalo. Then when two of them decided to climb into the tunnel instead of one looking for him outside or guarding the exit (although I guess he couldn't have known offhand where it was). It was like babby's first break-in and gunfight for all those guys. Would have expected more from Gus' men but I guess the story has to roll forward somehow. I honestly thought it was going to be a trick. That Lalo got someone to send Nacho the message and him opening the gate was going to be proof of his treason. But no, Gus legit sent the Mexican Skinny Pete squad to take him out lol. And the plan hinged on Nacho opening a gate from an obscure phone call where any number of things could have gone wrong.
