I think you might feel unsatisfied only because it was the final episode of the season. Not because of the actual content of this last episode.

Was it super over the top with intensity the whole time? No. But it sets up a SUPER crazy last season. I can tell Vince didnt want to end this season full on Breaking Bad style.

Its still a different show than BB. Dont forget the first few season finales of this show, they were about as on par with this current finale. Theres not gonna be tons of explosions and 50 minutes of intense scenes. BCS is a slow burn all the way through, with explosions and bumps along the way that change the course of the character arcs.

Kims decision to break bad is whats big about this episode.

Im really thinking this show is gonna go complete heartbreak this last season. Kim and Saul are gonna try and ruin Hamlin, and itll backfire. Either Kim will lose her license/blame Jimmy and leave him, shell get killed, or Lalo will track Kim and Saul back down, forcing her to go into hiding.

Bob Odenkirk has already said that the last season of BCS will show what happens to Saul AFTER the Breaking Bad story.

what if...Kim goes into hiding with the vacuum guy, and the whole flash forwards with Jimmy working at the mall are leading up to him finding new identity Kim? That would be the perfect ending IMO. Neither die, but both have to fully change their characters in order to be reunited again.
