there is a human cost to life on both sides. the old and infirm most susceptible to the virus were non-existent or small sliver of the active economy in the first place. we continue precautionary measures like social distancing, hand-washing, etc. for the at risk and return to normal life for everyone else. because as of now the young and healthy are having their livelihoods destroyed which itself poses an inimical risk to life.

That's utterly nonsensical.

going "back to normal life" Aka back to work to churn out profits for the elite means the virus doesn't go away.

More people get sick, more people die, the healthcare system gets overwhelmed and the damage to the economy becomes greater than if we had a strict lockdown.

The only people who benefit from "Just ignore the virus and get back to work as if it never existed" is the elite. The 1% for a lack of a better term.

If you even care a slither for the value of human life and conservative values of alleged small government, you should be furious at Donald Trump right now, far more so than any liberal.

But you're not, because you don't care. All the conservative "values" are lies
